A visit and a victory!

Last week Kenny's Dad and Mom came down to visit us. This was the first time they actually got to stay at our house with us, we finally have that extra bathroom done so they had their own bedroom and bathroom! Yay!

Kenny's soccer team had games on Monday and Tuesday night, so it was the opportune time to come down for a visit.

We were so glad to see them! We felt like such grown ups having them as our house guests as a change. *grins* And we always have fun when we're together.
This is a picture from our trip to Colorado in June!
I think it's so cute how the number on their shirts join together to say 100, like they're 100% happy *grins*

They met us at the soccer fields on Monday night and we got to watch Kenny's Titans play another amazing game! I think this was Denny and Cecilia's first time to see Kenny coach his soccer team! Denny even offered to video the game so Kenny could use the film in practice, wow!
After the game we all went home and I made "Freda Burritos" for dinner, I thought they turned out pretty great *winks*

Tuesday Kenny and I had to go to work, so Denny and Cecilia went out to visit the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. They have all kinds of western art and sculptures and even a replica of an old timey town! I haven't been in a long time, but I'd love to go back sometime!

We all met up at the soccer field again on Tuesday night. THIS game was more of a challenge! Cecilia and I think that whole team must have been HIGH SCHOOL guys (not middle school)! Some of them were taller than Kenny!?! Whoa!

Well, the Titans played their hearts out, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. We lost by two points. We're sure to meet up with that team again at the championship tournament next week, so Kenny's been re-working some plays that we can use against them then!
I picked up Chili's to go for us to have for dinner and when I got home Cecilia gave us the most beautiful autumn kitchen towels and pretty pot holder, a sweet gift for letting them stay with us! She is such a sweetie, always so thoughtful *smiles*

Thanks guys for coming to visit us, and you're welcome back ANY time!!
